How To Jailbreak Your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad

Want to jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, but don’t know where to start? Download our latest manual, which guides you through jailbreaking your device with RedSn0w and using Cydia. This guide will teach you everything you need to know about jailbreaking!

Jailbreaking is the act of removing the limitations set by Apple on iOS devices. It allows you to bypass the iOS App Store and install applications which have not been vetted by Apple, as well as make changes to the operating system itself such as how it looks and functions. You can change things which are not changeable by default.
Basically, jailbreaking frees your iOS device and allows you to get the most out of it by using it how you want to use it.
This manual will teach you:

  • The risks and benefits of jailbreaking
  • Jailbreaking your device with RedSn0w
  • Managing Cydia, including adding repositories and installing applications

    scenario

I have an iPod Touch, pass word lock, i handed it to my friend without unlocking it. right in front of me, not even more than 5 sec, he gave it back to me, when i tried to unlock it, it says Wrong Passcode try again...i don't really know what he did, its either he changed the my passcode, or lock the code...do you have any idea how he did it and what it is exactly?

    1. brother thanks for your doubt. If you cannot remember or change the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
